Home Bound Praying
We have had many scares this week, including free air in my stomach (which is why I had the stomach surgeries) and my brain is bulging though a hole left by the port in my head.
After numerous tests and procedures this week it looks like things are falling into order. The air turns out not to be there(Praise the Lord!), I have ulcers, and the brain is okay for now, possible a surgery later when stronger. I have a lot of pain in my stomach and still my eye. I saw the eye doctor on Monday and there is nothing we can do, just wait and pray it heals.
The transplant went well and all my numbers are doing great. The oncologist said today we can start aiming at Monday to go home. This is what we are praying for. I am hoping to be able to keep the pain under control at home.
Thanks for all the support!

Jared, we want nothing more then for you to be able to go home and heal there. You are so amazing and we are overjoyed to hear that things are finally starting to fall into place for you. There is a very bright light waiting for you at the end of this long tunnel. We will be pounding the pavement that your pain subsides and that you continue to move forward. I am sure you and Christina can hardly wait to spend some time together away from that hospital. Know that you have been such a strong source of inspiration to so many people, including so many that dont know you personally but now have hope and a stronger faith because of you! We will pray that infections stay clear of you and that you can return home to enjoy the start of a new life! We love you bud and we are thinking of you constantly. Cant wait to come and see you when you are feeling up to it! Love to you all~~xoxoxox~~Misty & Bob

OK, Jared, I'm saving a date for the Simpsons. Don't leave me out in the cold, I'm counting on this. Those of us who truly appreciate the finer things in life got each other's back, right? So glad you're headed home. If I could time it right, I'd skateboard over, run in and sit on the couch at precisely the same time as you.
Blessings!

Jared: Sounds as if you are indeed going to win this battle. You will have a testimony forever and forever--and will never have to wonder if the Lord answers prayer. Our church will be rejoicing when we update them as many have adopted your requests! You are a true miracle and such an encouragement to all who hear your story. Great news! Hello to your dear mom and dad, too.
