"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

...A Good Report !!!!

.....It's 10:00 pm and we just got in from the hospital. Jared went to surgery about 3 this afternoon...we are glad to report that all went well...so well that he called Christina from the recovery room to order his dinner....nachos and when we left he was sitting up in bed, had walked to the bathroom, was more than fully aware of his surroundings and was having dinner !We are very thankful to the Lord for seeing Jared through yet one more hurdle ! He should be in for a couple more days then home to rest up for the transplant !!!!!! Thanks again for all the prayers !!

Jared,
You are as amazing as the Kansas City Royals in the last 3 days.....17-5 over the Phillies and 11-1 over the Cardinals! Maybe you both are on a winning streak!
Be Strong!

Love & Prayers (& Nachos too!)

Jared, you are AMAZING! It is so nice to hear the good news and we just know that it will continue through the battle. The Lord will continue to have His Hands all over you as you gear up and come through the upcoming transplant. It seems that maybe "nachos and skittles" may be a couple of favorites of yours. :) Keep up the good fight, we love you and continue to lift all of you up! Misty & Bob

Wow, you continue to amaze us Jared. I would be celebrating with Mexican food too! YOu continue to inspire all of us, especially the Vogels, who have such minor problems that tend to overwhelm us (me--Jenn) until we think of you. Then hey, what do I have to worry about, look at how Jared is handling things!
We love you all so very much and continue to pray for you!!
Hold Fast dear family,
Lance, Jennifer, Jenna and Taryn
Joanna, we just know that your procedure will be as blessed as Jared has!

I had no idea you loved nachos so much. :) It's awesome to hear such great news. I pray that Joanna's surgery is just as smooth and that all of you are able to rest up this weekend. Happy Father's Day Tay-Tay!

Love you all!
