"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

Hi everyone after 101 consecutive nights and 117 total days this year we have finally made it home, thanks be to God! I jad my first shower in nearly 4 months this afternoon and it was wonderful. Thank you for all yoor thoughts, donations, prayers and support we could not have made it without them, and we ask for your continued support as our battle changes its focus to a bone marrow transplant. Also we ask that you pray for my continued increase in strength and ability to get around the house. Tommorrow is Christina's 26tn birthday so be thinking about the best wife in the world, I love you all so much and i'm sorry if i scared you all just a little bit.

Love,
Jared

I am proud to know you both, Jared and Christina. You are strong warriors in the Lord. Your faith has been amazing, I tell you, and even if you may have felt moments when all you believed was challenged, still then you fought on. You are surrounded my the most amazing family and friends that I have ever witnessed. I am so thankful to God for His faithfulness to you and to all of those who stood in faith in the darkest and yes, scary, moments. There are more challenges ahead, but in those we will see more victories as the Lord, our Healer, contends for you and your complete deliverance from this trial. "Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your Name be glory!"

What great news!!! I'm sure your worn out, but so glad to be home. When you have the chance, I'd love to drop off a growing collection of cards that have been sent to my house, but are meant for you. I think one has glitter in it, so open carefully.

I love you guys so much. Happy Birthday, Christina.
