"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

....Thursday report.....

...well let's see, since the last update...on Monday Jared had a reaction to the chemo treatment, he was on day 3 of 5...they stopped the treatment and he ended up back in ICU where he still is today. He just got really sick and started running a temp and his blood pressure was dropping but he is stable now and eating some and resting a lot ! Someone said that we put a whole new meaning to highs and lows !! Our prayer concerns now are for 1. the doctors to have a really good plan ! 2. for Jared to not lose ground in getting stronger 3. they are going to do a chemo treatment today in his new head port and we would like that to go really well 4. for whatever needs to happen for him to get the bone marrow transplant would all come into place....that's all!!
Actually that's the short list !! We are walking this out day by day and sometimes hour by hour ! We continue to believe and hope that "somehow" the Lord will work this all out and Jared will come through...after all His eye IS on the sparrow......amen ! Thanks again for ALL the support !

You absolutely have given new meaning to the highs and lows of life. Everytime I get down, I think of you all and it makes me realize how I need to stop whining!
You all are truly amazing. We know we don't see your day to day struggles, and I know there are days where you just have to wonder how and why. But we continue to pray for your strength, faith and hope.
Hold Fast Dear Family!
Love,
Jenn, Lance, Jenna and Taryn

We believe the Lord WILL bring Jared through this, and our prayers remain constant for strength, peace, rest, and for all to line up for Jared to beat this! We will pray that his ICU stay will be short but helpful in restoring his strength. We pray the side effects will be absolutely minimal when they do the chemo through the head port. The road is long but your love and faith are strong, and as we ALL gather together and come to the Lord for Jared we will see mighty miracles!! Our love is with you always~~Misty & Bob
