"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

A Big Turn Around...

Jared had a few really bad days on Thursday and Friday but had a big turn around on Saturday, which was a huge miracle(we cannot stress to you enough what a miracle it really was), and he was able to get off the ventilator. Thank you Lord!! He is very, very weak but his breathing is really good and he is resting quite soundly.

Please pray for strength as Jared begins to get up and going this week, even the simplest task like sitting up in a chair, takes a lot out of Jared. Please continue to pray that his levels will normalize and he will gain strength each day. We are not quite sure what this week holds for Jared but we will keep you posted.

We Thank God for this miracle. We pray daily that Jared's levels will come up, he will gain strength and be peaceful with things. We will pray that his breathing stays strong and that he will make strides througout the week. Your family is what God intended all humans to be like, and I think we have all learned quite a bit from all of you with the faith and love that you have shown througout this horrific ordeal. Stay Strong!! We love you and may God Bless each of you and may you feel his presence every moment. XOXOXOXO~~Misty & Bob

I came across Jared's blog through someone who asked prayer for him. I have been reading for the past couple days to catch up and know how to pray. I am also praying for a woman Jareds age that was diagnosed this past July with lukemia as well and they seem to be neck in neck with their battles with Lukemia so I am well versed in this type of prayer.
I live in Mansfield Tx now but we raised our children near Haltom city, so I feel connected to ya'll.
I will come by often and check on Jared for sure and I will definately add him to my prayer journal. May God protect Jared through this battle, and you his family which seems to be an amazing stronghold for Jared.
Many Blessings to you all.
