"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

Good News

Well, I finally got to come home after a 16 day stay for my final treatment last wednesday. Since I've been home things have been going well, I've had two doctor visits which both went very well. The most recent visit this past Tuesday gave us our first normal blood test result that we have had, all of my counts are not only good but they are in the normal range, Glory to God! I am feeling very good and don't have to go back to the doctor until the 26th, so it will be nice to get a break. Christina and I are leaving this afternoon for Carlsbad for a quick visit with her family and most importantly for my niece's birthday, I have been looking forward to this trip because it is something we have done every year since we have been together, and going on this trip makes me feel that much closer to having my life back. I really needed all of your prayers and encouragement to get through my final treatment, and I cannot thank you all enough for including me in your daily thoughts and prayers, I am honored that so many people would think that much about me. I want to tell you the Lord heard your prayers, and He gave me overwhelming grace to make it through those 16 long days and nights, and I never felt that I couldn't do it until the morning that I actually got sent home. His love, grace and mercy is sufficient!! Christina and I are blessed with absolutely amazing families, and the best friends we could ever ask for, thank you all for going through this journey with us, we don't know what the next part will hold for us, but we know that with the Lord and all of you on our side we can handle whatever the future holds for us. We love you all with all of our hearts, thank you for everything.

Jared - Friday, Nov 3rd Lazer is having a benefit concert for you with another band, "Fishboy." It's at The Moon. Not the actual moon, but the club "The Moon" in Fort Worth near TCU. All proceeds go to you, fair beast. Five dollar cover, we'll start spreading the word soon. If you want to come, you'll get in free and be the guest of honor like whoa. Much Love.

I am SO happy to hear that you are doing better and that you and Christina get to travel and spend some time with your family. You and your family (Waters) are always on my mind and in my heart. Have a great trip!
