"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

.....Christina begins teaching 2nd grade on Monday. She has been very busy setting up her classroom and meeting her students and parents ! Please keep her in your prayers as she juggles school and Jared.

.......Thanks again for all the prayers and support for the Waters family, we could not do it without all of you!

Jared,
I don't think its a coincidence that today's Google ad on your website is "Catholic Prayers", based upon our conversation the other night. You know now that I think of it we didn't have "rosary" talk. Hmm??? Yeah or Nay? Keep the one true faith. See ya soon.
The perpetual novice,
Brother Hans

Hi to all you Texas group. Well, we sure have enjoyed seeing Joanna and Elijah, what a treat he is!! So happy, you could be around him all day.
So Jared, we have been talking about you guys alot, can you feel it? Never a day goes by that we don't wonder, think, pray for and ask about you and Christina. I am sure things are going to be difficult for Christina to work into a new routine, but we are praying for her strength, your patience and lots of support for both of you.
Hope this round of chemo is doing ok for you??!! Stay strong honey, we love you all sooooo much and are praying for ALL of you constantly.

Hi Jared!

I'm glad to hear you are getting one more round out of the way! I really hope it is going smoothly for you - maximum results with minimum side effects. We are of course, praying for you always. Mom sent me some pictures of you guys celebrating your birthday the other day -- looked like a fun time! :) I miss being part of the Texas bunch. Hope to see you sometime before the year ends. Take care and send my love to Christina, too.

Love, Lish

Jared and Christina,
Want to let you know that Elaine and I have had you both in our prayers over the past months. This has been a tough time for both families, but I thank God every day for His Blessings. They far outweigh the bad stuff. We keep Josh informed and he was so glad to be able to visit you.
We are knowing that you will conquer this last chemo treatment as you have the previous with God's strenght & grace within you.
God's blessings be with you both.
Tom & Elaine

Jared - How's it going buddy? I am so proud of your courage and faithfulness throughout this entire process. It has been a blessing and an encouragement to witness. Thanks for agreeing to help paint with me in the fall, I won't start without you. ;-P

Christina - God bless you in this new school year. Kati is having a little trouble adjusting to Kindergarten. Every morning she has separation anxiety and every afternoon she is full of stories about how much fun she had and the neat activities that they did in school. I pray that you will have a wonderful year and that the Lord will bless those children through you and bless you through them.

I love you both so much.

In Him,

Kyle
