"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

Round Five...Done!

Jared finished his fifth chemo treatment today and went home this afternoon. This treatment went well, just the standard nausea and fatigue. He is happy to be home recovering and spending time with his girls, Christina & Molly.

Please post some encouraging notes to Jared as he gets some much needed R&R this week.

We know we have said it over and over again but your prayers and support are really what get us through this time so thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Hello Jared, longtime reader first time poster here-Just wanting you to know how much you and the family are on everyones minds many many times a day. I dont think that there are many conversations a day that dont have you mentioned in them and we hope that you can feel all of the prayers. They say (whoevever "they" are) that you dont know how many friends you have until your in a bind and it seems as if you have them all over the globe!!!! I've heard that you check this many times a day and I wonder if everyone who reads this and who posts or doesnt post as has been the case with me will just say who you are and where you live. Anyway I'm thinking of you and hope you are resting well.
Your Cuz,
Lance---I'll start that posting thing now---

Hi Jared,

I'm glad to hear you've got one more round done! I hope you are feeling better and getting lots of rest. Simon and I are thinking of you and continue to pray for your complete and total healing. My parents flew out here last night and I know they are planning to spend a day in Dallas on their way back home to see you and the rest of the Texas Waters. I hope you know how much we all love you!!
