"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

Great Improvement...

Thank you to all who prayed for Jared this week, he is much improved! His levels are all getting back to where they need to be and he is planning to head home tommorrow. They will be at home for a few days (woohoo!) and then head back to the hospital later this week for his third round of chemo. We are praying for a much better round this time.

Thanks for all of your support and prayers, they were needed and appreciated.

Happy Father's Day!

So glad to hear your days are better right now, Jared. The Lord is powerful. We think of you everyday, and when we do we say a little prayer. Never a day goes by that we are not getting an update, talking about you or praying for you, so we hope you feel that and know that! For Christina and all of the Waters crew down there!
Wish we could give you all a hug, but understand that we are in our own way!
Love and prayers to you all,
The Vogel Family :)

Today when I think of you Jared, the song that comes to mind is
"You light up my life, You give me hope to carry on!!!!" Corny I know but then it would be someone else's mind if the songs were cool ones, sounds like something Steve Peifer would sing. I love you and your sweet wife more than words can say. Your fake-uncle Hans's wife, Janie

Hi Jared and The Entire Waters Crew,

i just wanted to let you know that we are all thinking about you and sending nothing but good vibes your way. There is not one of us girls that can get thru a conversation with mom - without asking "Hows Jared? or, did anyone talk to Aunt Diane today?" Just know that we love you and pray for you and you are never far from our thoughts!!!

Hope you and Christina are faring well today, I don't think Katrina's talked to her.
