"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

More Amazing News!

Jared and Christina continued to receive more amazing news this week. They received assistance from Baylor Grapevine which significantly decreased their medical bills from Jared's two visits there. What a tremendous blessing! Also before Jared went in for his last round of chemo they did a blood smear test and the results came back with NO CANCER in the blood! Praise the Lord! His oncologist is very pleased with the results of the last two tests. These tests show that the chemo treatment is working exactly the way is should be but we are not out of the woods yet, but we know that complete healing for Jared is soon to come.

His next round of chemo starts on Monday, this round is just like his second round where he had so many difficult side effects. Please pray that the chemo has the maximum effect with minimal side effects and that Jared, Christina, the nurses and doctors will all have wisdom on how to make this treatment better.

As you go about this week and pray for Jared and Christina please post them a message, it is especially encouraging to them while they are in the hospital. Thank you so much for your continued prayer and support, we know that all these amazing blessings are due in part to your constant prayer.

We are so thankful to our all powerful and mighty GOD for the work he is doing in your life Jared. And through you, I know personally, HE is affecting people more than any of us know. It is amazing!
We are praying for your strength, faith and peace through this round of treatment. I had such anticipation last week sitting in the dentist chair as he was having to re-do a crown that he messed up. But I thought of you, knowing what you are going through, and I could at least walk away from the office and be done with it. I know you are apprehensive for this treatment, but GOD is giving you such strength, you must rely on that, even more than you have before to make it through this round. YOU are an amazing person and have such a fabulous outlook. Keep it up honey!
By the way, have you heard the new MercyMe CD? It is awesome. The first song, coming up to breathe, made me think of your situation and what is to come, that you will come up from this struggle, catching that fresh, first breath, knowing you have made it!
Love you so much, wish I could wrap my arms around you and Christina!

Jared,

I'm going to take you back to good ole Crossfire days and recite a song for you!

"His banner of you, His banner of me, His banner over us is love, love, love."

I thought that would make you laugh, but it's also true. His banner over you and your family in this situation is beautiful to witness.

It was really great to see you for the 4th and spend some time with everyone. Love you both!

Jared,
Even though we have never met, I have been praying for you and Christina daily. My daughter, Courtney is a friend of Christina. I praise God for the victories you have received thus far, and I know there are many more to come! One of my favorite verses is Mark 9:23 Everything is possible for him believes.

Dear jared and christina
last night i went to my spiritual discussion group. we can name those we want to have extra special healing and help. I asked for Jared. I have found that when I name someone, there is always help for them. May the golden light of healing from God surround him and Christina and help the healing and protect them both.
Love Judy (Simon's mother).

Hey there brother. It was great to see you last weekend out of the hospital. You looked great and it was good to see you laughing and smiling. God is doing something bigger in this time that I think none of us has seen yet. I know you are going to be healed and your body free of cancer of any kind, but I believe the harvest will be bigger that that. It will amaze us all. May the blessings of the Lord abound this week during your treatment, and minimal side effects be seen. Love ya man. And as always call anytime, day or night.
