"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

Goodbye ICU...

Jared was moved yesterday from ICU back to the Oncology floor, praise the Lord!He was also ready to be back, and I quote, "Where those women know how to take care of me." As always Jared is his witty self, and we love it!

Today they are going to be running some more tests on him to try and pinpoint what is really going on. He is scheduled to have a spinal tap this afternoon in order to get another sample of spinal fluid to test. Please pray for courage and peace for Jared today. We really don't have a lot of information at this time, but when we do we will let you know.

Please continue to pray for the following:
  • Doctors would have wisdom and insight into Jared's condition.
  • Jared would be completely healed, his sight would normalize and the headaches would subside.
  • Strength, endurance and hope for Jared, Christina and the Waters Family.

Your prayers are what help us stay afloat! We are eternally grateful to all of you.

I'm so glad to hear you're out of ICU and are back "where those ladies know how to take care of you". Please know you and Christina are in my prayers daily and in my thoughts even more often.

Out of all of God's promises in the bible, I like the one from Hebrews that says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" the best. No matter what the circumstance, those words hold strong. We love you guys.
