"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

Post-Election Day Blues.....

I'm sure everyone is as disappointed as I am by last night's results, so I decided I'd better get on here and try to cheer everyone up. On Monday we recieved the results of my last bone marrow biopsy, which came back completely clean!! This means that every test that they can run on me to find cancer has come back showing that there is none in my body!! We do have a prayer request however, I am still having problems with my eyes and I will remain on a very strong steroid program to address the problem. The nice thing about the steroids is that my hair is growing back exponentially, the downside is pretty bad heartburn and difficulty sleeping. We aren't sure how long we will be on the steroid program, but we just ask that you pray it will be sooner rather than later, but most importantly that my eyes will be healed. We love you all very much, and I promise I will post some pictures of my great new hair!

Love,

Jared

Right on my brother. Yes, the elections were quite shocking; and to say I'm scared to see what happens is an understatement. At any rate, give me a call as time permits. I can't believe your KC is starting to look much better than my MN...what a tough loss for me last week. Oh, sorry; didn't mean to go off on that...we'll save that for the phone calls.
