"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinquish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:14-17

Half-way there!!

Today is day 50! We are half-way to being 100 days out of the transplant, which is a big marker in the process. I am continuing to get stronger everyday and my counts are still holding steady. I am eating well now, thanks to steroids. Life almost seems too normal!
My major source of pain is still my right eye. I continue to need prayers with this.
On Monday Christina goes back to work. We appreciate your prayers as we try to figure out the logistics of this transition.
Love you,
Jared

Jared, your mom told us about this blog. This is the first time we've seen it.(Cathie and I are kinda slow on the uptake :)

I wanted to tell you that we keep you and your bride and your family in our prayers every morning. We'll read the blog and catch up with the rest of your fan club.

In the meantime, we're very happy to hear some of the really cool things that have transpired. I found the "I'm all woman now" concept quite intriguing...hmmm

All our love,
Matt and Cathie Rosemann

You are in the home-stretch now, Jared. Congratulations! We believe the worst is behind you and "normal" life ahead. We will continue to hold up your requests. (Hello to your mom and dad, too.)
